Australian Institute of Waterproofing Inc. has been formed by a group of people from
within the waterproofing industry who want to see improved skill levels through training;
adoption of industry best practice and methodology; and greater communication
within the waterproofing industry. |

Compliance to BCC requirement / AS3740 - The AIW Certificate of Competency will allow contractors to meet the
new BCC requirements for contractors carrying out waterproofing to internal wet areas.

Certificate III - Waterproofing -
The AIW is working closely with relevant TAFE colleges in providing qualified
trained personnel to the waterproofing industry

Education -
To identify issues where the AIW are able to help raise standards of
practice within the industry

Industry Voice & Recognition -
AIW will provide a forum within the construction industry for the further
development of waterproofing as a recognised trade.
